Beautiful pendant handmade in 18 ct gold with two drop shaped white Moonstone, both with the stunning blue mother-of-pearl shine that makes this gemstone so speciel. The two Moonstones are connected by a tiny gold chain and move freely within the birds cage. This is a really unique and beautiful pendant.

The pendant is really pretty with either a fine gold og silver necklace.

‘Danish design is still famous for designs by Arne Jacobsen, Kjærholm, Wegner etc; pieces which are dated back to the 1950’s and 1960’s.

Would it be possible that these classics after such a long time, are tired of remaining what they have become? Have a wish of being something else? if they could speak themselves!

I observed one of Vedel’s wooden birds – again sitting on a boring shelf – and I had the feeling that this little bird was longing to fly out of the ‘classics-cage’ it had been in since 1959 – out into the world as a free bird!’
