A real Princess

The work title for these rings was ‘A Queen’s Worthy – First Ladies’, and it immediately got me thinking about what a real Queen is. There are of course those we all know from the various European royal houses; those born to bear the title.

Then there are the women who are ‘queens’ and first ladies both by office but also by heart, mind and power. These are women like Michelle Obama, Emma Watson, Greta Thunberg, Emma González, who all work and fight hard and with heart for a cause. That list of these women is long, very long.

But then there are the few who are simply: ‘A queen worthy’, who have been tested, have passed the test and have shown that they are ‘a real princess’.

These rings are inspired by H.C. Andersen’s fairy tale The Princess and the Pea. They are all unique rings made in 18 kt re-cycled gold, each with their very own precious gemstone and with their very own precious gemstone inside. And of course they have – between the “edder down” – another diamond hidden – otherwise she wouldn’t be ‘One real princess!
